Interdisciplinary Cypher (IC) ist ein experimentelles Format des Austausches von verschiedenen Disziplinen im Kreis.
Das zusammenkommen, welches an eine Jam erinnert, ist eine alternative Echt-Zeit Untersuchung von aktuellen Fragen oder Thematiken, welche von der ganzen Gruppe spielerisch reflektiert und verarbeitet werden.
Inspiriert von der Cypher im Tanz wird dabei offene und unterstützende Aufmerksamkeit auf die Person(en) in der Mitte gelegt. Die Impulse aus dem Zentrum werden von den anderen wieder aufgegriffen und weitergesponnen.
So entsteht ein Informationsverarbeitungssystem, welches verschiedene Perspektiven zu einem klaren Zentrum hin vereint und Neues daraus entstehen lässt. Jede Person ist dazu eingeladen, die eigenen Sichtweisen zu teilen und weiterzuentwickeln.
Die Inputs basieren auf Improvisation, das heisst, alles entsteht im Moment und tritt in Interaktion mit Raum, Objekten, Musik und den anderen Akteur:innen.
Durch ein Set von Scores wird der Raum zu einem Spielfeld mit Regelwerk, das mit der Zeit mehr und mehr gebrochen wird und die IC sich verselbständigt.
Als temporäre Gemeinschaft sind wir für einen sicheren Raum, respektvollen Umgang und gegenseitige Unterstützung verantwortlich. Alle Menschen sind herzlich willkommen, mit dabei zu sein.

Interdisciplinary Cypher findet 1x im Monat in der Zentralwäscherei Zürich statt. Die Sessions werden von Mitglieder des Zookunft.Project geleitet. Das Thema der jeweiligen Session wird ca. eine Woche vor dem Cypher bekannt gegeben.

Interdisciplinary Cypher (IC) is an experimental format for the exchange of different disciplines in a circle.
The gathering, similar to a jam, is an alternative real time exploration of current issues or themes that are playfully reflected and processed by the whole group.
Inspired by the Cypher in dance, open and supportive attention is given to the person(s) in the centre. The impulses from the middle are taken up again by the others and spun on.
This creates an information processing system that unites different perspectives towards a clear centre and allows something new to emerge from it. Each person is invited to share and develop their own perspectives.
The inputs are based on improvisation, i.e. everything arises in the moment and interacts with space, objects, music and the other actors.
Through a set of scores, the space becomes a playing field with a set of rules that are opening up more and more over time and the IC takes on a life of its own.
As a temporary community we are responsible for a safe space, respectful interaction and mutual support. All people are welcome to join us.

Interdisciplinary Cypher takes place 1x a month at Zentralwäscherei Zurich. The sessions are led by members of Zookunft.Project. The topic of each session will be announced about
one week before the Cypher.
