Zookunft.project is working on ways of communication, a new concept called ‚Empart(h)y’ which we were trying out the first time in hotel room 44, latest in our residency in Hotel Eychenne in Saint-Girons (FR).
The term ‚Empart(h)y’ is a play on words between empathy and party, such as a format that invites different inhabitants of the planet to stay together in a space (physically or metaphorically) and to try out interdisciplinary forms of communication and interaction as part of this event.
"Empathy is remembering that everybody has a story. Multiple
stories. And remembering to make space to hear someone else’s story before immediatly telling your own."
